Do you know about the best MMA fighter in UFC?

UFC legend Anderson Silva pulled off an enormous upset when he defeated an accomplished professional boxer, former middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., in a fight that went the complete eight rounds in Mexico. Anderson Silva perhaps won every round against Machado, desperately wanted a late-round finish, and could not get it. In the UFC, Anderson Silva was once considered the best MMA fighter of all time, having kept a winning streak to 16 fights, defending the UFC Middleweight Championship in ten of those fights. After winning the first 16 of Anderson Silva’s fights inside the octagon and building up a legendary reputation as the greatest middleweight fighter in UFC history, Silva would go 1-6-1 over the next nine fights.

With his wife, Dayane, Silva has three boys and two daughters. Before starting his professional fighting career, Silva worked as a file clerk at McDonald’s. He has a professed love of comic books and comic book characters, and his personal idols include Spider-Man, Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali, and his mother. In 2011, Silva, a close friend of Brazilian World Cup victor Ronaldo, was the first client to be promoted by 9INE, a sports marketing firm that Ronaldo co-owns. Anderson has been endorsed by Corinthians, his desirable football team, since August 2011.

The former UFC Middleweight Champion could not fight back as Uriah Hall stood over him, landing punches on Silva’s face, forcing referee Herb Dean to stop the fight with Hall. Although Anderson Silva has not confirmed he is retiring from mixed martial arts, the UFC and Silva have acknowledged that the fight with Hall was his last in the UFC. Since losing his UFC Middleweight Championship, Silva has won just one bout versus Derrick Brunson, dropping seven of his past nine UFC bouts while earning a no-contest with Nick Diaz. On February 3, 2007, at UFC 67, Silva was scheduled to face The Ultimate Fighter 4 winner Travis Lutter in his first title defence since his victory over Rich Franklin in October 2006. On March 1 2008, at UFC 82, Silva faced Pride middleweight champion Dan Henderson in a title unification fight (UFC and Pride titles on the line).

Silva, the UFCs legendary 47-year-old, was a clear, though informal, victor against MMA kingpin Machado in an Abu Dhabi undercard match against Floyd Mayweather vs Don Moore. In the final stages, UFC legend Silva gave MMA master Machado the kind of left-handed punching which threatened a takedown. Anderson silva was dominant against fellow MMA fighter and countryman Bruno on Saturday night in dalliance; however, they could not secure a win because this was an exhibition bout.
